Lorraine and I met for lunch at the Bagel Cafe to catch up. We always enjoy sharing stories about our girls and there is always lots to talk about!  It has been hot this week and too humid to work outside. It's frustrating because there is certainly a lot to do. I need to cut back the perennial geraniums, hellebores, nepeta, tie up the clematis (again), and pull out the larkspur. I noticed today the mildew is starting to show up on the deck. I think we will have to clean it again in mid-summer, as well as the early spring. I guess there is no such thing as maintenance-free, even with Trex.
