Books On My Nightstand
Faith, by Jennifer Haigh.
Catherine the Great, by Robert K. Massie. Walt is reading this now on his Kindle and likes it.
Carry the One, by Carol Ansay. I think JoAnn liked this.
The Newlyweds, by Nell Freudenberger. Good reviews.
Summerland, by Elin Hilderbrand. Have to read some beach fluff this summer.
The Expats, by Chris Pavone. Am reading now and can't put it down.
I Shall Not Want, by Julia Spencer-Fleming. I am obsessed with this mystery series about Police Chief Russ Van Alstyne and the Reverend Clare Fergusson. Talk about unexpected turns in the plot. This is #6 in the series.

The Newlyweds was interesting, not great, but a look a two cultures and their views on marriage and life, how different we are. biff
ReplyDeleteI read Silvergirl by Hildebrand earlier this summer. Definite "fluff" but not bad enough to not finish. I just finished The 19th Wife, Under the Banner of Heaven, and The Girl Who Fell From the Sky. All very interesting. I am going to read Night Circus next.
ReplyDeleteHave you read it?
