I actually remembered to take a picture this morning of my front perennial garden, as I am trying to do this year on the first of every month. And guess what, it looks exactly the same as it did on January 1. No snow, no frost, just brown and bare. Although if you look closely, a few snowdrops are blooming. But what is up with this weather? Yesterday it was in the mid-60s and today will be more of the same, maybe with some rain this afternoon. It really feels like spring this morning-- I can even hear birds chirping and my cherry tree is starting to bloom. I feel like I should be outside working, but I am not ready yet. I am still in garden thinking mode.
