What a relief to wake up to a cooler, rainy morning. We had storms last night which finally broke our long stretch of hot hot weather. The weekend was horribly hot, so we spent most of the time indoors. I had to work all day on Saturday and then we met some friends for dinner at Reston Town Center. Yesterday Walt got up at 5:30 to run 11 miles before it got too hot, and then we were lazy most of the day, watching Wimbledon and the Nats (they lost). Late in the afternoon we decided to go to the movies, only to find when we got there that the power had just gone out. Oh well, we headed to Wegmans instead for some food fun.
