My Styrax Japonica (Snowbell) tree is in its glory right now, absolutely laden with these little white bells. It is so beautiful to look at, especially in the morning when a slight breeze is blowing the flowers all over the yard like snow. We planted it in 1991 (bought it at Merrifield for $44.95 according to my garden journal), and it has turned into a lovely backyard tree. It is underplanted with white 'Delaware Valley' azaleas and white daffodils, thus I call it my "White Garden," well actually, white corner.
